iPhone Hotspot for Laptops
How to Connect a Windows Device to an iPhone Hotspot
If you want to use your iPhone's internet connection on your Windows device, you can create a hotspot on your iPhone and connect your Windows device to it. Follow these steps:
- Unlock your iPhone and go to the home screen.
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and tap on Personal Hotspot.
- Toggle on the Personal Hotspot switch.
- Take note of the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password displayed on this screen. You'll need this to connect your Windows device.
- On your Windows device:
- Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray.
- Find and select the Wi-Fi network with the same name as your iPhone's hotspot (SSID).
- A pop-up window will appear. Enter the hotspot password you noted earlier.
- Click Connect.
- Your Windows device will now connect to your iPhone's hotspot. Once connected, you should see the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray with a network connection.
Your Windows device is now connected to your iPhone's hotspot, and you can use your iPhone's cellular data to browse the internet on your Windows device.
